A Worthwhile Purchase!

For the last few weeks, I have withheld my review on this product to see - overall - how it would hold up with my expectations. I am MORE than happy with it thus far! At first, as this was my first big purchase in getting a bow for my medieval outfit for Halloween and then to make it a wall decor, I wasn't sure I chose right. But I have been proven very wrong! (Also, shooting it doesn't seem a problem either, as most people would get this for actual hunting or practicing.)
I don't mean to praise too much but this bow is seriously a sweet deal. When it arrived in packaging, it was securely cared for as well as wrapped. It took a bit to get it all out, which says something nice as it was made safe for the travel to me. Afterwards, I came to find that the bow was stringed with something else and not the string. I put the bow on the floor, held it down with my knee and strung the bow in the end; although my muscles worked out during it all, lol. But the bow looked just as awesome as I hoped it would. I carried it around the house for the longest time, feeling like Legolas or something. It's an inspiring piece of work!
I included a picture or two of the bow itself so people could see how big the item is. And it really is a handy, versatile, well sized bow that won't be too awkward or disappointing to hold. It also, funny enough and I am no real hunter or expert, shoots pretty well too! Again, I am no expert, but there is a ton of power behind the shot. Be careful when practicing or aiming!

Bought this to cosplay Lara Croft.
The craftsmanship looks very good; I don't think I'm even going to modify the looks of it at all.
It's prestrung with black paracord and comes with a red and tan bow string to string it with.
I know nothing about bows and I was able to unstring it and string it.
I'm 5'1", 130lbs, average build, and a mom of two so it's not like I'm muscly or anything. I believe anyone could string this bow.
Also, I unstrung it using the standing up method where you put one end of the bow on your ankle and step through with the other leg. I strung it using the cross-legged method because I tried doing it the standing up way and I couldn't hold the bow correctly.
Hope this helps.

The bow took quite a long time to get here, but looks and shoots great. Stringing (by hand) was relatively easy once I figured it out. Would recommend!
Five Stars

Expensive garbage or cheap pile of gold? You decide.

Nice little bow for the price. The draw weight is just about spot on. The bow is mostly fiberglass as the limbs, but the tips are made of wood. No doubt the bow is nice for the price. Be careful when you get it though, it's strung with a piece of Paracord. If you cut it before stringing the bow with the actual string, the limbs bend forward and it's almost impossible to get the string on. The third try, I had the top limb hit me across the face and I saw stars for a minute. There is also a top and bottom limb, even though it is not immediately noticable. The top limb has a number on the wooden tip, it should be the poundage of the bow you received. My main concern is that the tips are glued to the fiberglass limbs and wrapped with a nylon string. This does not seem very safe or stable to me. I will update if any issues arise while shooting the bow extensively. Thanks and have a good one!
