Thankfully, my pup and cat both really like this stuff on their food. The pump is used for dosage , but I found it made a mess for me, so I am using with a dosage syringe ( 2ml = 1 pump ) It's a LOT easier for me to keep from getting oil splatter all on the bowl(s) or on floor this way.
Edit / Update: A month later, and both my pup and cat still like this stuff. There is a noticeable gleam... a sheen and softness in my pup's coat. My cat , not yet, BUT she is MUCH more active than she was before... ( she was having eating issues and this is the reason I started this stuff... and it is working for her big league ) . I am very happy about this stuff, and a few more months in, I'll update again.

We bought this for our recently rescued dog. He was in the process of healing for some really bad sunburn. He is looking so much better now! His hair is actually looking much better. The splotchy patches are dimishing and the skin is healing. The wife was shocked how fast this oil progressed his healing.
We have tried some other salmon oil supplement but I think this far better then what we bought at the pet store

I have an old English sheepdog and he has been having dry skin problems with patches of scaly and itchy skin on his back. We have tried some other salmon oil supplement but I think this far better then what we bought at the pet store. I knew this was going to be a long term problem he had been on the other oil for about a month but after 1 week on this oil everyday, we could see some improvement and after 2 weeks we could see a great improvement and by the 3rd. week it appeared that all spots had cleared up. I am now giving him the salmon oil every other day.
Because his skin was rather severe I did not want to just put it over his food because he eats his food throughout the day and I wanted to make sure he was getting the full dose. So what I do, which I did the same thing with the previous oil that I was giving him, I put some of his food along with a few treats in a small bowl, I cover it with the appropriate amount of oil, I mix it up and put the top on the bowl and then I let it sit overnight flipping the bowl over a few times, I call it his "cereal". While he is eating his "cereal" I make another bowl for the next day. I feel that this technique insures that he gets the full dose of oil. I think this product is better then similar products that we have tried.

Good product but small quantity for the price.

I purchased this salmon oil because three of my 7+ yr. old Weimaraners' coats were rough and not shiny and healthy-looking like several of my friend's dogs. I think it is a good product but, with three dogs, it didn't last long enough for me to see a difference. Even though the size was stated, I was disappointed that the bottle was so small. (My fault) I truly feel that if I could afford to continue giving this to my 85+ lb. dogs, I would see a difference. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to go back to popping capsules with a pin and squeezing them into my dog's food, which I hate.. but can afford.

Our pup loves this alaskan fish oil! We put on his crunchy treats and he gobbles them right up. It also helps keep his coat shiny and flake-free.  Highly recommended!
