I actually had to do some searching to find this exact 3.5 to USB adapter, and then make sure it have mic as well as audio.
I use Bose QC25 headphones and my work phones quality is crap, so I needed to plug into my CPU to use the dial system. this solved the issue and sound quality is WAY better, and I get the noise canceling from my headphones too.

I'm buying a second one because I lost mine a few days ago. I'm sure it will resurface soon after I get the new one. I like that this adapter doesn't have cords to bend and break. Although I did dislodge it from its casing and it bent and I pushed it back together and it still works! I was amazed. But after that I did have some small issues with having to slightly toggle it, every once in awhile to connect, but generally it works in mid video I can plug it in and it transfers the sound right over. The quality is pretty excellent for my work projects.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is it has to be put in on my USB ports in a way where it faces to the back of the computer and that does make my headphone cord kink towards me, so I have to tuck the cord under the laptop to keep it straight from the converter. Lzyco should flip the USB piece and components over inside there, so it can face forwards for the jack plug in.

We've been having trouble with the speakers on my mum's desktop computer and I suspected it was because the input Jack was dying. Bought one of these and plugged them into a free usb input and she hasn't had any problems since then.

The ergonomics or design of this product made it impossible to use. It fit on the back of my tv where the USB port is snug between two other outlet jacks and it is impossible to fit this product there because it's outlet prevents plugging it in right above another jack. This design prevented me from using this device which seems well-made.

A decent adapter for the money. My computer didn't like the jack type of plug for my audio headset. I bought this USB adapter and it works well. I am still able to interchange between speakers and headset as needed without having to remove the USB.
