I bought this ladder to attach to a low tree house platform. It was exactly what I needed, and worked perfectly. Not only is it sturdy, I can fold it up nicely on the tree house floor, keeping it out of the way of the mower as well as preventing the kids from going up there unsupervised. Perfect solution!

3 step mounted on water level swim step

Very happy with this purchase, seems comparable to something over $200 at West marine. I mounted it to my swim step and works great. I recommend the 3 step if you are mounting it close to water level. If it will mount on your boat above water level I would go for the 4th step. Also I am using in fresh water so I can not say how it will hold up to salt water.
