I used this product to treat my plum, apple and cherry trees which had evidence of caterpillar infestation. I mixed the product as instructed and applied it to my trees. A few days later I noticed significant dark spots on the leaves of the plum tree. A week later the affected leaves fell off the tree. The tree is at the early stages of fruit production. I am hoping that the resulting condition won't cause the loss of the crop. The apple and cherry trees did not show the same effects so I am cautiously optimistic that they will be OK. I plan to return the Neem Oil and search for another organic option.

This was recommended to us by our local plant guy as an "GO-TO" for anything plant, tree, produce issues. I have fungus growing in my mulch and garden and this took care of it! I have read about a bazillion things it can be used on, so you cannot go wrong with it....plus a little goes a long way and the bottle can last you forever!!

Last year, for the first time ever, my lilies were decimated by lily beetles. These pests look like lady bugs (harmless to lilies), but are larger, similar in size to Japanese beetles; they eat leaves & flowers and lay their eggs on the undersides of the leaves, totally ruining your plants. After reading up on ways to control/kill this persistent pest, I found that Neem was a recommended solution, and it's organic! I grow my own organic veggies in the same area as my lilies, so an organic solution was mandatory. The lily beetles appeared right after the last frost, and started chewing my plants. I immediately began to apply Neem liberally (I bought the convenient spray bottle, too) and can already see a difference. New leaves look healthy and green w/o holes chewed all through. Neem will NOT harm plants so you can apply as much as needed. It can, however, harm bees so its best to use this product in the early morning or after dusk (when the bees aren't out) or at least ensure a direct spray stream on pests you are targeting.

I have not tried it yet on my fruit trees or garden vegetables, that is why the 4 stars, but I did mix it with coconut oil, 1/4 cup coconut oil & 9 drops neem oil, and put it on to repel black flies, the scourge of Maine, and it did work. I had to reapply after about 6 hours of working in the fields and sweating. I even put some on the dogs ears because he was being bitten badly. It worked for him too! If it works in the garden then I would say 5 stars.

The oil came in in perfect condition, not a hint of spilling. I sprayed my roses and magnolia tree, and it looks like they're already in better shape. The oil itself has a light nutty smell, which caught me off guard, since it didn't smell like the sprays I buy at the garden center. But once mixed with soap and water according to the recipe on the bottle the smell becomes familiarly unpleasant. At the current rate of use, this little bottle will last me quite a while. This is definitely a great deal.
