Let me first start by saying one application took care of my problem with little white bugs on my 3 mature tomato plants. (I've included a photo of the problem with the infestation). I see reviews complaining about the size of the bottle. Read the product description. It's 16 FL OZ. It's really not fair to give a review based on the fact that it's a small bottle. The directions call for 1 and a 1/2 teaspoons of oil mixed with a 1/2 teaspoon of mild dish soap. I made the concoction as directed and put the solution in a spray bottle. I gave the tips and undersides of the leaves a good coat. The next day, my problem was resolved. If I complete the application every 7-10 days as recommended, I'll still have a generous amount to last through the summer and beyond. I am thrilled by the fact that this worked better and quicker than I had expected.

I purchased this to control spider mites. Mix according to direction, EXACTLY LIKE DIRECTIONS, and it will do what it claims to do. After reading some other reviews, some people seem to think the instructions are a suggestion. Then they complain about something that they screwed up themselves. If it's cold and not a liquid, put it in a warm place for an hour or so. Yes you might have to think ahead a bit. Just follow the directions verbatim. It works!

I have been having severe soil gnat issues after purchasing a bag of potting mix that must have been infested with eggs! I've about had it and the yellow gnat stickies for my plants aren't killing the eggs so I'm hoping this does the trick. I just mixed up 1.5 teaspoons of neem oil with water and a splash of dish soap in a spray bottle. Sprayed and IMMEDIATELY the gnats are dead on contact. Soil isn't moving anymore thank God. You can find neem "extract" and "oils" in different products, but you will find most do NOT contain the active ingredient: "azadirachtin" Feel free to google that.

I am happy to say this has the active ingredient in it. The issue other products have is the way they are processed. Most do not use the "cold press" method of extraction, and therefor are missing the essential active ingredient azadirachtin.

This is the one you want to go with. Do not buy pre-mixed spray bottles, they are a waste of money. Do not buy any neem product that does not state ON THE LABEL that it contains Azadirachtin.

Azadirachtin is the reason people buy and use neem oil. It is a natural pesticide which repels all types of bugs and small animals. The chemical can also cause paralysis and death to bugs, but remains relatively safe for humans to handle. I laughed at the ratings "flavor, scent" etc; You do not want to use this for cooking and you do not want to ingest it. This is a product designed to be used as a natural pesticide.

To me, the other brands of neem extract that do not have azadirachtin are blatant rip-offs, and they shouldn't be allowed to sell something in that way. So if you've bought neem oil before and were upset it wasn't doing anything to bugs, this is the reason why.

Only downside is you need to test some leaves first before applying to the entire plant, and rain will wash the oil off which makes a need to re-apply.

I liked the product. It didn't last as long as I hoped but I think it was my greenhouse fault
