The workmanship on this carrier is impressive. Very,very well made. Leather is cut perfectly. Nothing sloppy here. Very neat strong stitching. I particularly liked the loups sewn inside to keep each shell secure from rattling. It handled 243 , 308 and 338 Federal very well. It also handle mid length cartridges 303 British and 6.5x55 Swedish just fine. It did NOT accept 270 or 30 06. If I could improve one thing, there are two straps riveted on the back for your belt or pack. They were only 3/8ths inch wide. I would have preferred them a little wider, more robust. I think it will work ok for me, but those hard on their gear may need to be more careful.
