This makes it really easy to control all of my lamps from the sofa

In my living room we have no built-in overhead lighting, so lamps have become really important. This makes it really easy to control all of my lamps from the sofa. Not only that, but I can always customize what lamps I want time. I ordered another set because I got a fourth lamp. What was really cool about that is that I was able to group the two lamps on the piano on a single remote button. One negative is that the lettering on the remote has already rubbed off, so I can't visually see which ones are 1, 2, 3, 4, and All, but commonsense reminds me that it's top to bottom ;-)
A real convenience.

These work really well. We have a floor lamp with three lights on it. One button near the top operates all the lights either individually or has them all on at once - a lot of twisting of the knob. Also, if seated, a person would have to get out of your chair, or off the couch in order to turn on/off a specific light. With these we turned the until all the lights were on, and then turned them all off with the included remote. The remote has a row of four on/off switches. Without getting up we can now turn on/off any of the three lights we want. The fourth set of buttons on the remote turns on/off all three lights at once. The only con, for me, is the fact that due to the length of these remote sensors the light bulbs now extend slightly beyond their glass shade. I'm willing to live with that for the convenience of not having to get up every time I want to turn a light on or off.
Easy to install and nifty little gadget to use

This was a super easy install. I am using these remote control sockets in a three bulb ceiling light fixture - a newly installed book case is blocking the light switch. I didn't have to program anything and the remote gives me the choice of turning 1, 2 or all 3 bulbs on, which is kind of cool and more than I was looking for in this light switch fix. The only problem I had was that the bulbs stick out so far I couldn't put the glass dome back over the fixture, as is. Luckily found some lamp hardware that would extend the center screw portion down an inch so I could get the cover back on. The remote is small, maybe 3 inches long, so I'm a little worried it might go missing. I think I will come up with something to attach it to a wall. Overall I am quite pleased with this purchase.
VERY IMPRESSIVE

I was very impressed by the range of this RC light socket. I use several incandescent light bulbs in a small chicken coop to provide heat for my chickens during the winter months. During our winter season the daytime and nighttime temperatures fluctuate by several degrees. These RC sockets allow me to control the number of lights needed to keep my chickens comfortable all winter long. My chicken coop is about 40 unobstructed yards from my house. That is a distance of roughly 120 feet - which is 40ft. further than the maximum range listed for this product. I was amazed to be able to turn each light on or off from inside my house. What a convenience, for me, not to have to walk to the coop every time I need to adjust the temperature (especially when it is bitter cold and/or we have several inches of snow on the ground). I purchased four of these units and would highly recommend them.
Can't go wrong.

Worked exactly as I hoped it would, and solves a wiring oddity in an apartment I can't rewire (for obvious reasons). I'd give this a five, except they made the remote device symmetrical - you cannot tell in the dark which end is which. The design team, for the next iteration, can learn from people who have been designing remotes for years, the tv/cable/set-top box guys. Most obvious solution? Taper one end. Cheap, easy. A groove or some other tactile cue (change of surface material) would also work.
Would absolutely buy again.
