I got this as a gift for a friend. The bag is a medium size, and it is dark black, not sure what material it is. The inside doesn't have dividers that will get in the way of certain items like other backpacks do. This bag was replacing a Jansport he wore out and he seems very happy with it, has been using it daily. I thought it was a nice looking bag and the price was a steal (under $15 prime day sale).

Really enjoying this backpack! I was initially afraid it wouldn't fit my 15 inch Macbook but it actually slides in perfectly. The sides pockets are very useful and convenient , I use it for water or to hold my cell phone. With my laptop and extra accessories, it can get heavy. I noticed that with more weight, my backpack is still pretty sturdy and the straps are comfortable.

This bag actually exceeded my expectations upon receiving it-- It has an inside pocket attached to the back (which I'll be using for my wallet and keys-) but it could also fit a kindle paperwhite in the pocket, so it's fairly large. Those side flaps are actually pockets too, instead of a fashion detail like I'd expected, so I basically ended up with like three extra pockets! It's got a sturdy construction for the price, and the size is pleasent. A great buy, honestly!

Shipping was super fast, like 2 days after placing the order. About week 5 into the semester I noticed the stitching was starting to rip on the zipper track, loose fringes. Typically I carry 2-3 binders and other accessories and this bag gets the job done but If you're loaded down with heavy texts books this is not the bag for you.
