these are very good if you know how to work with them

Ok, these are very good if you know how to work with them. They are difficult but with practice it will be perfect. I think the frosting should be a little on the harder side to make these work.

Not crafty? Me neither. But along with 5 kids under 11, I created 3 dozen "Russian" deviled eggs the day after we got this kit. Took about an hour. No icing in these"”just eggs, mayo and mustard along with some food coloring. Could someone with artistics skills (and patience) have done better? Sure. But this was my first attempt at ever using a piping bag and it turned out pretty good for a beginner"” using boiled eggs! Suddenly the kids love deviled eggs. Win win in my book.

Great products and excellent value. For the price, there is a really nice variety of flower shapes and the two leaf patterns are a great bonus. These tips are well-made and sturdy and likely won't rust like the tin tips commonly sold as "professional" and of which I own many. The cutouts are clean and precise, though it's up to the user to ensure good results by using buttercream of the proper consistency. The PDF guide is detailed and helpful. A simple web search will show many recipes, tutorials and design ideas. Using these for the very first time, my cake looked pretty enough to impress all my friends. Who knew beautiful buttercream flowers could be such a snap?!?
