I don't notice any upscaling on 65" LG but it works great for plugging in the RCA and Component to HDMI. Sound is a bit of feedback on the NES but nothing annoying. Most likely my cord.

My TiVo cable box was unable to pass audio through this switch on HDMI. Seller offered to refund purchase without hesitation, however I was able to connect the Component interface instead due to the additional ports available, and so a successful integration.

With no reviews, i decided to take a chance and give it a try. So i am happy i did. This unit works very good, is a two input unit and has audio inputs for both sources. Works great with my PIONEER ELITE video recorder/player. I am planing to buy a SONY OLED TV that has only HDMI inputs and one composite input, so i need an HDMI high quality converter that can connect my dvd component video out to the tv. So what i like very much about this unit comparing with other 4k units out there is the fact that it has audio inputs, so if i want to watch a movie or record something i do not have to use a receiver to play the sound. Good price for a 4k converter/upscaler. The picture coming out and the sound are perfect. How long will last? TIME WILL TELL. I got an extended warranty for 4 extra years for a few$$. So all in one if you want a good quality HDMI 4K converter/upscaler get one. You will be happy. I know i am.Make a note of it, is good to use with legacy devices. This converter has a little remote that can be used to adjust a lot of settings and select the audio inputs. Works perfect straight out of the box. No need to play with the settings. To try it, i am using my 2k 55" Panasonic TV HDMI inputs. Could not try the 4k upscaling. 2K upscaling and 1080p works good. So is a keeper.
