So this the 3rd one 1st did fine job plenty vhs to digital stopped going ordered replace that one did same no copy so odd didn't ask to load a code on softwear disc guessed not work as did uninstall and did not restart once did restart saw got the jammed version mentioned 3rd one was same yet to send 2nd back so this time did a pc refresh so all files went to a 16 terra drive got same time I had moved 750 gig already now I wonder if lost year of type and all my jpeg etc with refresh see it read scan and repair when reattach new drive and guess is not usable then so need turn pc off see if precious type left! Meanwhile 3rd seemedc run like 1st then saw error on finished file still ran but was set pal not nsf whatever standard was now suppose right setting will run question i have after all this am I even interested..yeah lost all files bet refresh not even need move them basically can't even care anymore seen it all

Amazed that this really does work. Depending on what type of computer you are loading to you may have to research some setting adjustments. Took me about 15 minutes to get it going. Had to use an app to convert to mp4 and then I was all set. Very happy with this product.

I bought this to save an old home video. I plugged in an old VHS player, connected this device to my laptop. Then I downloaded the recommended software, and played the tape. It took less than an hour to find my preferred settings. Now I have the video on a USB stick and saved to Google drive.
