This life jacket is well made. It isn't really bulky, which I like. It's has adjustable straps that go underneath and around the abdomen, also goes securely fits around the neck. I ordered a large and had no issues adjusting it to fit comfortably around my overweight dog. This will be an added safety measure since she likes jumping in the pool, but doesn't know how to swim.

I have a little yorkie poo who loves to hang out with us around the pool but is terrible at swimming. This life jacket is adorable and the straps adjust quiet a bit so it will be good for dogs of different sizes. My dog is about 6-7lbs and I have to adjust it almost to the tightest it goes for it to fit, so if you're dog is any smaller it may be too big. I look forward to her joining us in the pool all summer long now that she can stay afloat.

When you have a boxer that sinks and can't swim a life vest is definitely needed. Could have just gotten a plain color one but this was cute and cost the same. Keeps him afloat fits well. He is still expected to fill out and this should still fit him.

Well made in terms of construction. Great conversation piece on the lake. But was a bit bulky for my 12lb JRT. It kept his head a little too low while in the water. Perhaps if it had an actual floating flap in the front (like a bib) then it would work better at keeping his head up and afloat and out of the water. Just seemed to weigh him down a bit. Sadly we were on vacation too long and missed the return window. I would have definitely exchanged it for another item that better suited him.
