I have rheumatoid arthritis with an onset of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. I've had it almost my whole life. Morning stiffness and swelling is almost always the worst in my hands. My joints will lock up, will be difficult to move, and so forth. Needless to say I wore them to bed. These gloves not only relieves pain, but they also make my hands more mobile. Take them off, and my joints lock up. Leave them on, and my joints crack but work beautifully. I'll have to wear them as needed throughout the day. :)

Size wise, I bought size extra small. In hospital rubber gloves I wear a size small, but I'll occasionally wear size extra small if I want it tight enough to feel someone's pulse to get a blood gas. The width across my hand is 2.75 inches. Going one size down on these gloves seems to be the best way to go.

Aside from myalgic issues, I have trigger finger/tenosynovitis in both hands. After 3 years of near constant locking of my left hand, my right started, too. I had laser therapy at my chiropractor which "cured" me, however, I do still get stiffness, pain, and clicking in my hands. Since I do a lot of crafts, any impairment in my hands is devastating. My chiropractor recommended sleeping with splints on my fingers and hands, but that's really uncomfortable.

Then I found these gloves. Not expecting much, I gave them a try. Two days later, I ordered another pair.

I've tried sleeping without them for a couple of nights to verify that the relief I felt I had wasn't all in my head, or short-term. After 2 nights without them, I woke up with all of the usual symptoms. Wearing them again relieved the issues.

They've been washed a few times over the past 3 1/2 weeks, and the fabric is in fine shape with no reduction in the compression. They feel gently snug, but soft and not "tight" allowing for easy manipulation of hands and fingers for crafts, playing piano, using the computer; and my hands don't go numb holding my tablet when I wear them. They are perfectly comfortable and fit as stated in the size chart.

I recommend these gloves. Buy a pair for bedtime and another for activities where you need some support in your hands and fingers- sports, crafts, etc. They may not work for everyone, but they do for me.

This is the pair I keep at my desk for work or use in the gym. I do like the grips on the palms for this reason. I don't use them for sleeping because of the grips. Nice but less compression than other brands. Would get more.

Good fit. Comfortable fabric. Keep my hands warm which has reduced the pain
