Literally saved our lives!!

We bought this awesome 6 yrs ago on 2017. The pictures are from today 4/6/23. It is one of those "worth every penny" purchases.
Now, for the s story of how this mailbox saved our lives.
The day my husband installed it, I was so excited that I said we have to go drive around a little and then come back so I can see what it looks like in front of the house. We live in the country and on some of the country roads people go too fast. So we are about a half a mile from our home and we come to a 4-way stop sign. At the stop sign, my husband ask should we go left and see the house see the mailbox from the right of the home or turn left and see the mailbox from the left of our home? In the 30 seconds it took me to decide, a car came speeding and blew through through the four-way stop sign going at least 70 mph. If we were not thinking about our mailbox, we would have been in that intersection and either severely injured or killed.
Our beautiful Red Barn mailbox is not only a high point of our front yard but it literally saved our lives.

This mailbox is great. Very sturdy, works well and my neighbors love it. It was a little hard to assemble as there were no holes where the screws went in but that was not a big deal. It replaces my old mailbox so there was already a post in place for this to go on. Love it!!

The mailbox is perfect! We wanted a red mailbox so it would make it easy for people to find our house since we are the only house on our block with a red mailbox. Everyone always seems to go to the wrong house to leave my packages so this way now all they have to do is look for the red mailbox and it works out great. It's a little smaller than our old mailbox but it still does the job and it's very well made. I just hope the red color doesn't fade over time but we will see how it does. If it does fade I will come back and update my review but so far it is perfect and arrived wuickly
