We had four 150w halogen flood lights uplighting the front of our home, at least once a year the glass lens would shatter in one of them requiring a trip to the local big box store to buy a replacement unit just so we could switch out the glass. I guess we would have kept doing this except that the replacement halogen light is not available locally now and only sold online so it was time to look at the alternatives and I'm glad I did. This light is very well made, it's smaller (thinner) than the old light but it's heftier and made with better materials, the cover looks like it could take a bullet which is a plus here with Texas hail.
The replacement was painless, a little wiring and no need for any additional purchases as it screwed straight into the old lithonia outlet box.
The light itself is brighter and cleaner than the old halogen lights, it's still warm but not as yellow. If you're replacing wall wash lights then these are the perfect brightness and color, I wouldn't go any higher than 15w for this application.
One last thing, our old lights combined used 600 watts, these use 60w combined which makes me happy.

These lights are fantastic. Our house had up-lighting on the front of the house when we purchased it. The original lights were large and bulky and got extremely hot if the lights were on for more than 5 minutes. These lights are much smaller and stay cool no matter how long you leave them on, and use very little electricity to operate. Highly recommend.

The 15 watt outdoor LED flood security light is excellent for compact areas with excellent lighting and low wattage we use them for high lighting walls such as low flood mounted to a home and signage in front of office buildings they would be great for homes mounted as double flood lights would highly recommend them to anyone that wants a nice look for their home or commercial project. Thanks for the fast shipping.

The lights are nicely constructed. The color temperature is warm as expected. They are plenty bright to illuminate the front of our house and provide improved security. I previously was using 100 watt halogen lights. The LED lights use about 1/6 as much electricity and are actually brighter than the 100 watt halogen lights. I look forward to the lengthy life of the LEDs, especially in comparison to the need to regularly replace the halogen bulb in the old fixtures.
