Really nice and thick glass. It has high sides so your corn won't roll right out of it. Also great for rolling your corn in butter without getting butter all over your other food.

I am so disappointed. The box had been opened. I'm guessing opened and returned because of damage--then they sent it to me. I'm returning it. One is chipped and the rest have sharp places on them. I went to Crate and Barrel and found very cute yellow porcelain corn dishes for 2.99 each. Less than these were on sale.

These are actually pretty darn nifty! I got them only because I ordered new corn dishes and they showed up in the "people also bought these" and I thought "well that's neat". They are easier to grip than the older solid plastic ones and you don't get poked when you go rummaging around the drawer they are thrown in. Love them!

I cannot say enough about these corn holders! WOW! After much research I come to the conclusion that corn holders are way more expensive than I realized. After some contemplation between the glass and the plastic with having two children in the home I decided to go with the plastic. Plus who could beat a cheaper price vs the glass for 30 bucks plus. Let me just say when the box arrived, I opened it, very skeptical. My skepticism went away immediately when I saw the corn holders! They look like they are made of glass! And they're made of very thick plastic, but yet look so realistic. They are absolutely beautiful and very elegant and will surely add to your dining atmosphere when you're serving corn on the cob. Highly recommended!

These are nice dishes and exactly what I was looking for. I would have given 5 stars, but a few of them have black dots under the glaze. The dots are small, and if there is one, it's on the back. However, one of the dishes has a pencil point size dot close to the top edge on the back so it is visible when the dish is being used. I am on the fence about returning it. I ordered 6 plates. 3 have no imperfections. 2 are really minor. The dishes are a nice white that goes with my everyday white dishes. They were packed well and I didn't have any of the problems some of the other reviewers had with chips/breakage. Each was individually bubble wrapped with several layers of wrap. The plates were nested in in the box with the 2 DVDs I ordered and the pillow type bubble packing strip Amazon uses a lot in packing items.
