At first I thought I received the wrong product, it was a plan silver globe, but once it was plugged in it turned out to be quite attractive, just like in the picture.

When not lit, it's a shiny solid silver color. When lit, the transformation is stunning. Viewed from the front, across the room, mine has a gorgeous blue/green burst of color in the center, surrounded by shoots of varying hues of purple and pink, mingled with hints of soft orange. Much more colorful than I expected! Melts wax quickly, throws scent very well. Can be used without the warming dish as an accent light/lamp. I think it's too bright to use as a nightlight, it casts a pretty big circle of light on the ceiling. One star off because: 1. The warming dish is very shallow. Larger tarts, such as Yankee Candle tarts, are too big for the warming dish, but clam shell style cubes work well. 2. The replacement bulbs are a bit pricey, although buying in quantity lowers the cost. All in all, I think this warmer is well worth the price, it's a unique accent piece. Everyone will be asking you; "Where did you get that?!!"

This is the prettiest warmer! Upon first look i thought i got the wrong one as the outsode almost looks likr a mirrior but when turned on, comes bursting to life. Shallow dish but you can always find an alternative!
