The squeegee itself is find--looks good and does an excellent job of cleaning glass. Unfortunately, the methodology for attaching it to the bathroom wall works directly against its adherence--you must screw the holder in place but as you tighten it, it pulls against the adhesive on the wall. Result: fell down in just two days. Using additional and stronger double sided adhesive tape did the trick.

For starters, this squeegee is far superior to the ones at BB&B and other retailers that sell primarily plastic squeegees with plastic wipers. The real key seems to be a fairly soft wiper which conforms to both textured and smooth tiles. Having said this, I will do a bit of nit picking.

I am not a real fan of brackets that are attached with double-sided tape or adhesives. If you choose your location poorly, it can be difficult to come up with a new tape or adhesive. I had purchased a hanger for a razor and it came as a twofer suction bracket so I used one of them instead of the one that came with the squeegee.

I am not sure why the squeegee is made of metal instead of plastic. I guess if you are going to market your product in the $15 price range, you have to make it look good and project an image that the quality is better than plastic. On a more practical side, the angle of the wiper is such that the handle has to be parallel with the wall for the wiper to be at its optimum angle to wipe. This drags your knuckles across the tiles. Reducing the angle between the wiper and the handle would make it more comfortable to use. Consequently, I have dropped the wiper a couple of times. Fortunately, I have a fiberglass pan in the bottom of the shower which is less susceptible to damage than a tile floor which could be chipped.

One last pick; it would be nice if the wiper was a couple of inches wider to speed up the wipe down. What I would like to see is a wider squeegee using the same wiping material, plastic handle, and a suction cup hanger. Nevertheless, it is a better than average squeegee.

The quality of the actual squeegee is fantastic, it's has a little weight to it and you can change out the rubber squeegee also... The hook looks like a quality piece but it's not strong enough to hold it, Its merely a suction cup...other pieces I used like this have a dial suction cup that works. It fell several times and I cleaned the wall appropriately before securing it. My fear is that this squeegee can crack the porcelain because of its weight. (I have several suction cup pieces in my shower and they hold up to 5 pounds very well, I will say that you do have to remove the pieces once every 2 months or so as they will fall if you don't. Its a part of keeping them tightened and clean)

Pros: Looks nice and feels solid.

Cons: Suction cup only works on glass, not tile, so it had to hang on the shower door.
It's heavy enough that it will crack my shower tile if I drop it.
Angle of the blade to the handle is too sharp, so it's hard to get the right angle while using -- and it squeeks.

Can't return it since its used, so this one is going into the stack for the next garage sale. Lesson learned.

This squeegee is a great bargain. I have had several over the past years and so far this one is performing best for the purpose it was intended. Clears the glass shower wall practically dry. I can recommend it highly. My only concern I have is finding a replacement rubber part if this one should wear out. I can say that the handle never will. It looks like good quality, heavy duty stainless steel.
