I was chased by a young boy of two and a half, held aloft by a swim vest and no less than three pool noodles, calling out, "la serene!" Over and over . . . As a Plus size lady, this pleased me no end. His mum thanked me for making his swim memorable!

This is our second Mermaid tale and my daughter, almost 12 is still loving this for pool time! She kind of "over used" the last one and we had to get her a new one. I"m happy to see they now come with the reinforced tail tips because that is where the last one got holes. I would have given the "old" version 4 stars for that, but they have fixed the problem, so 5 stars! She was able to use her last Mono fin with the new tail, so we didn't have to purchase another fin, just the beautiful tale. We got the Bahama blush and the colors are gorgeous. We have a pool, so this gets lots of use and every girl loves pretending she's a mermaid!

This design is WAY better than our last mermaid tail. They now have a rubber like end that fits over your fin that makes it much more durable. It should no longer tear like our last one. My daughter is so excited and can't wait to try out her new one!!

Awesome!! Only issue I have is I didn't realise the tail fabric had tiny silver/holigraphic dots allover. My other Fin Fun have a clear scale pattern over the colour. Pay attention to the sizing!! I am 5'8" 145lbs and average build. The small fits well dry but is slightly loose in the water.

This is a great product, overall! The tails look even nicer in person, and the updated 3D printing of the scales is a very appreciated touch up. It's got lovely colors, and the material stretches well, so it conforms to the body nicely. One thing to note, however, is that when sizing yourself and coming up between two different sizes, root for the smaller one. It's a lot more snug on the body, and will prevent creases whilst swimming in the water. The covered tail tips are a nice addition, too, for starters that have issues bumping into pools. I didn't rate it a full 5 stars to due to the fact that a few stitches were coming out at the tail's monofin insert area, but overall, this is a great beginner product for the price.
