Not Spillproof

Good product. Long Tube, easy to use. However, it is not spill proof. I was confined to a hospital bed and the large receptacle was placed on the floor. However, when the tube was pulled for use in the bed, the large receptacle was tipped on its side. There is a small hole in the top of the receptacle to allow air to exhaust as the receptacle fills. Unfortunately, the urine already in the receptacle leaked out through the small hole and onto the floor! We subsequently placed the receptacle in a large pan. That eliminated spilling on the floor but not the tipping. The receptacle should be redesigned with a much heavier base.

Best design of similars, but still not quite meeting our need. The design works well if you are physically competent (but then probably would not need it!). The cup needs to be soft and flexible, not plastic hard. The handle is the size a child would use, not big enough to be held by a normal mans hand size....fingers won't even go in the handle. The tubing is a crinkly plastic not suitable for ease of cleaning....needs a smooth straight clear vinyl or silicone. So this product is only half way there if you are elderly, have poor vision, fragile skin, or a normal size male hand.

Well, a urinal is not exactly the type of thing one loves. Still, this is extremely handy, easy to clean, and well-designed. Husband broke foot and has to stay off foot, so many trips to the BR at night are out of the question. This solves the problem, and can be emptied easily, rinsed thoroughly, and voila, back for business. Recommend if you /partner has a need. Purchased a 2nd one in case this broke down in some unforeseen way. Things don't get better as we age, obviously.

Great for bed ridden patients. Can use with no issue. Isn't the best made but with care will last for a long time. Worth the price. .love it
Way better than hospital type urinal

I suffered an injury that prohibited me from putting any weight on one leg for 3 months. That meant getting around with a walker, and that meant going to the bathroom at night was very difficult -- not to mention unsafe. This bottle made it possible for me to go to the bathroom several times a night without having to empty a hospital-style urinal every time. Incredibly useful for anyone who urinates several times a night but finds it difficult or impossible to go into the bathroom.
