Love these leashes and took a chance on ordering, simply because I was wanting climbing rope slip leashes. They are very equivalent to the ones I have that were almost $30 each. We have 5 dogs we take in and out to potty, and these are SO easy to slip over their heads and go! I use them also for my treks to the track where I always take one to train while there, and logging in my miles. I have 3 Aussies (2yrs and 3, a Border collie 7 month old, and 6yr old German Shepherd). I've trained them all, and the Aussies and Border are still in training for Obedience and agility. Mine have been trained to not pull, and to either "heel", or walk on a loose leash, so I don't have to "correct" very often with these slip leashes. But a gentle "reminder" is all I need out in the world and the "heel" or "steady" command, if one gets ahead of me. The quality of these are awesome and the colors are great. I ordered 4 (2 blue, an olive, and a black). The ring and leather "catch" are perfect for loosening , and the catch can easily be moved up or down. Happy with this purchase, and highly recommend. Quality at a very nice price!

I am active in rescue. We pull dogs from a local government shelter facility, find quality no-kill shelters that will save them and adopt them to good homes. Successful and safe handling/transporting nervous dogs requires using quality equipment. I have a variety of slip leads but this lead has a slightly different feel. It is braided tighter using more threads. The keeper slides easily and yet works effectively to hold the loop securely around the dogs neck. This lead is easy to remove while the dog is crated for transport and also easy to put back on when it is time to get the dog out of the crate. This lead which is on the left in my photo keeps a nice open shape while a different brand on the right collapses. An open loop is good when reaching inside a crate to leash a scared dog. It allows me to use just one hand. I will buy again. I tried the lead on my Great Dane and on my Papillon. It worked for both size dogs.

This is a slip on leash, not a clip on, so you it comes with a loop that you slide around your dog's neck. The loop tightens as your dog pulls. When I first received this product for my new puppy, I failed to read the description, so I was a bit confused about what I ordered. I didn't think it would be useful. Boy was I wrong! This leash is PERFECT for new puppy parents. When your puppy wakes you up at 5 am, you quickly put it around their neck and rush them to go potty. It really saves you from a lot of accidents. This leash helped my dog learn to potty, prevent a ton of pee accidents, and taught her a sense of urgency. We don't waste time clipping on a leash.
Now, I clearly love the function of this leash. I also love the color ( I got the olive) and its sturdiness. It is thicker than other leashes I've found here. It is durable, and it didn't break when my puppy chewed on it. She has sense graduated from this leash, but I sometimes use it when I want to take her out quickly.

I ordered this leash in blue for my 1 year old Aussiedoodle, Rowan. Rowan weighs about 50 lbs, and is a spunky, determined little (big) boy. The leash we've been using with Rowan is a expandable leash, and we decided we wanted something to help him learn to not pull and stay closer on walks.
We had looked in the big pet stores in our town, and leashes comparable to this were $25+. I was skeptical of this leash since it was so affordable, mostly because I was afraid it wouldn't be strong enough for my big boy.
You guys, this thing is AMAZING. Great quality, great color (on our blue one, at least), wonderfully made! There are even reflective threads in our leash so that it shows up better at night. The blue looks great against Rowan's black fur, and the neck opening is wonderful. It pulls tight when he pulls, but it loosens as soon as he lets up. It has a leather piece that keeps the neck hole from expanding too wide when the dog gives it slack. I'm tempted to order another in a different color-- THAT'S how great this leash is. This is hands-down one of my best Amazon buys.

Very good quality so much easier not having to hook to a collar. It is a lad longer than I would personally have wanted and that's because I have my dogs walk nicely along side me and to not pull. But for the average dog these leashes are perfect. Good training tool not to pull if you place it behind the ears. It's sturdy and overall great. Would buy again and again.
