i just wanted a cheep garden hoe to hoe my garden & you cant hardly get a really good one any more ..every thing ya buy is made n china seams like & if i got to buy made n china junk then i dont want to spend much so i bought this & after a good blade sharpening with a grinder to fix the sides the way i like (Sharp) i used it a day or three then its easy to keep really sharp with a file ! i had a family member naging because it was a made n china so he goes to lows and pays 40-45$ for one that said made in usa on the handle But i pointed out that if you look on the blade it still says CHINA...lol. it was funny as well ya know ! again it will work as long as you are willing to do manual labor & it wont break the bank !
