Only one speaker works.

I cannot get two of the speakers to work. The main speakers hums, one of the smaller speakers doesn't work at all and the other speaker works fine. Could anymore tell me what is wrong? I like the blue tooth, works great, if only the speakers worked.

Purchased as a gift for my mother. She loves them. They're loud enough for my elderly parents to hear clearly from across the house.

DOA. 2 stars instead of 1 reason being the speakers look nice and sound nice. Only 2 stars because after receiving my speakers I connected them and one speaker hums loudly when power is applied, and the other speaker wasn't even putting sound out. The speaker connections from the speakers to the back of the main unit are very poor, they are just typical push in RCA cable connectors, but I tried to disconnect and reconnect the speakers many times and the problem continues, I was able to get the buzzing to quiet down and and make the other speaker put sound out by wiggling the connections at the back of the main unit so the connections are just very low grade and very poor connectivity. I thought of returning for replacement, but I can see the same failure happening in the near future even if a replacement worked initially. I do not recommend.
