Great sound!

I purchased this system because I have a large collection of cds and also I like to listen to streamed jazz from KNKX in Seattle. I wanted to get rid of my cumbersome big component system to save space. The Bluetooth "in" from my iPhone also works well once a device is paired (a little fiddly). The speakers are surprisingly good, and it's a treat to get crystal clear sound, especially with the cds but also using Bluetooth "in" and the iPhone. Much better than sound from ripped albums stored on my iPhone jacked into a Bose speaker, and hugely better than the same MP3 albums played on wireless speakers. (I did a comparison using the same music). I think would be nice to have a Bluetooth "out" option so you could use wireless speakers, but I think some sound quality would be lost.
Impressive and worthy

I have had this system for about 2 months and at first I wasn't sure about the sound. With time and fiddling just a little bit with the controls, I have found the sound of this system to be very enjoyable. The best sounds come from cd's that have been recorded well initially and/or have been remastered. Very impressed with the sounds that this system puts out.
Excellent product. Be home for delivery.

We just got it. Easy to set up. Super clear sound. The material the stereo is made of is clean, looks awesome, and appears to be well built. We didn't even have to look at the user guide because it is so easy to use. The Bluetooth is super easy to use, connect to, and switch between devices. The CD player is high quality.
This is not a critique on the packaging, but I want people to be aware that the seller/Amazon did not put this in an unmarked or general Amazon box and did not require signature upon delivery. It was on my doorstep when it came home and it was in the product box advertising what it was with a picture. If the wrong person saw the outside of the box and knew what an expensive stereo system this was it would have been stolen. I am very lucky I live in a good neighborhood and my front door is somewhat hidden from the road. I would recommend being home when this is delivered or having it delivered to your workplace so it doesn't sit on your front step and risk being stolen.

Love this thing. Had it 6 months now, it has rekindled my love of listening to music.
Well balanced, powerful. I use the speakers that came with it as well as a vintage pair of Mirage on a load balancing switch. Very lively, smooth sound. Jazz, electro, easy - all sounds good.
Being able to turn it on with your phone's Bluetooth is awesome. Remote will also change the track on your phone.
No regrets, leaves me wanting for nothing.

i needed to replace my Bluetooth speaker. Initially, I thought I would just get an upgraded model. But then I decided I wanted a unit that had a CD player and would fit on the bookshelf in my family room. I was surprised how limited were the choices. Based on Amazon reviews I narrowed my search to Bose and Denon. While the $599 Bose charges wasn't a deciding factor, I had the suspicion ithe price was so high in order to offset its advertising budget. So I went with the Denon, considerably less expensive.
Long story short, I am delighted by my choice. For such a small unit, the sound is outstanding. Technologically challenged "” that's an understatement, unfortunately "” I found the setup a breeze. And the Bluetooth pairing was effortless. You literally push one button.
So if you're still sorting out your options, or are wavering on which system to buy, take my advice and get the Denon. You will not regret it.
