Perfect size and easy to use. Easy to sterilize too. I carbonated in the bottle and these work very well. I believe the color helps keep the beer fresh longer as well. My only concern was the lids were all loose. All I had to do was squeeze them together and they were fine. Lids are also available if need to replace arises.

The bottles are thick and dark. Good for beer bottling. The caps seal works very well and holds the gases in the bottle, and when opened makes a loud popping sound indicating the seal was perfect. The box is well made and closes perfectly with the caps on the bottles, and blocks out light, making it perfect for storing beer after bottling. The bottles size are small enough to fit in the door compartments of most refrigerators. Each bottle's capacity is about twice that of commercial beer bottles. Making one bottle of beer about the equivalent of two bottles of commercial beers.

These beer bottles are sturdy and have a good weight to them. I love that I can reuse these again and again for brewing my own beer! The stopper makes sure that beer stays carbonated. These can also be used for other drinks, not just beer! I am definitely happy with these, and would recommend them if you are looking for the best way to bottle your brew.

I put my kombucha in these bottles, and the bottles make the drink look fancy and enticing imo. They also serve the more important purpose of ensuring a way for carbonation to escape before the bottle explodes, out of the well-sealed but wire pressured tension cap. I also actually dropped one of these filled with liquid on the cement floor of our garage, and ...nothing happened... excellent! These are sturdy and each one of the included 12 looked even, uniform and well-made. I picked these particular Home Brewing bottles due to their good price point, and am very pleased with value and quality.

All of mine arrived intact, although the thin bubble wrap pouch they are shipped in could be replaced with something a little more sturdy.
I asked a question above about whether these could be capped with regular bottle caps. After not receiving any satisfactory answers, I ordered a case to check.
These CAN be capped with a conventional bottle cap, but you can't use a "wing style" capper to do it. You must use a floor or bench style lever action capper. But it will work fine.
I am using these to hold beer brewed for a wedding as giveaways. The bottles will be filled and capped with an oxygen absorbing bottle cap to keep the beer fresh, and after the guests consume the beer they can reuse the labeled souvenir bottle for storage with the attached swing-top cap.
