I have a Chevy Tahoe. First put key in ignition turn key til dashboard lights up, it's the last turn before the car turns on,, don't turn your car on, just the full dashboard 1) press lock and unlock buttons on your key at the same til you hear 2 beeps, I took pic so you can see my key lock thingie"¦ step2) start w left front tire I placed the black tip directly on the tire in a horizontal plane next to the tire gauge,, now press the white button, you'll see it blinking green hold it til it beeps..and no shit,, it beeped, now passenger, beep, now rear right, beep, and last left rear beep.

Bought this item as my tire sensors would always be out of whack every time I had my tires rotated. This thing is pretty much "press and point." Took me about 5 minutes to reset my sensors. Great tool. SUPER economical.

The dealer rotated the tires on my Buick Encore. I kept getting a low pressure reading on the left FRONT tire but every time I checked the pressure was fine. I ignored it for a while, chalking it up to a bad TPMS sensor.....one day I decided to check the air in all the tires and realized that the left REAR tires was, indeed, very low on air. So the dealer did not 'reprogram' the car to know where the TPMS sensors were and I kept getting a low reading on a tire that was not where the dashboard said it was. :-(
After browsing some TPMS programmers that were well over $100 because I did not know what I *needed*. I came across this device which was EXACTLY what I needed. I entered the TPMS programming mode on the car and followed the instructions (from the device and from YouTube!) and it did not even take 1 minute to have the car be able to display the pressures from the actual locations of the tires.

The last time I checked GM's cost was $699. This was less than $10. The fact that this review did not garner a solid "5" is that the instruction manual was nothing more than an inadequate attempt to translate Chinese to English. Further, there is no mention that the vehicle's engine has to be operating and not just in accessory mode took a brief, but necessary, step to set up the process. Hello Asia - good bye "Made in USA".
