Very thick and pretty large for a queen. Had lots of excess plastic left to fold and tape, which is fine (except for some reason my tape would not stick to this plastic). Even though this is thick, it still somehow ripped and had a few holes in it after my move (with professional movers). Next time I may try a different brand to see if it doesn't rip, but this one is still a great choice.

The work great for sealing mattresses that have bedbugs. The is heavy weight. The width is roomy without too much excess. The length is longer than mattress. There is about 8" of additional length. That gives plenty of room to tape the mattresses in securely. Packing tape sticks to this extremely well.
For anyone using for bedbugs; after wrapping mattress in this, I used a padded mattress cover. That gets rid of the noise from the plastic. There are zippered vinyl mattress bedbug covers available on Amazon. They are soft, zippered, white, and cost twice as much as these. I used these on a twin bed, and for the base of a king size bed. If using the zippered vinyl mattress covers, there's no need to use a padded mattress cover. They are quiet and soft. The appear like a almost like a sheet, but they are definitely vinyl. Both work well against those pest.

Works as advertised, and seems strong enough to resist being torn. If it had some small plastic loops to serve as handles, that would be much better. It is difficult to grip the mattress to pick it up and move it, without tearing the cover, once you have put it on.
That said, it did not tear during the move, and protected the mattress quite well. Compared to the cost of cleaning a mattress, this is a well worthwhile investment.

Our daughter recently needed to store all of her "stuff", including her queen mattresses. We wanted something to protect them from the dirt and bugs...specifically scorpions...and this product is great. It is extra thick making it very sturdy. We folded the open end over (like you would gift wrap a present) and secured all the seams with packing tape. The mattresses are stored in our garage in an overhead storage shelf and because the plastic is extra thick, we had no problems getting them up there without putting a hole in the cover. Because the cover is clear, I can see through it and so far, no bugs or discoloration. I am more than happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone needing to protect their mattresses. This product would also come in handy during a move.
