Wanted a steel mace for my home gym, and this was the only one I could find in stock. The price was right and I was pleasant surprised. Feels well-made and extremely durable, has a nice powder-coat finish with consistent knurled grips. This is one of two Garage Fit products I own now, and the brand is exactly what it says: good products for a garage gym.
Fair warning if you're new to steel mace, put your ego aside and start no higher than the 10 pounder. I'm 6'3" and reasonably strong but I still have a long way to go just to adapt to this. I bought this to try to improve my upper back and shoulder health since I work at a desk, and I'm finding that it really does help.

Not really into writing reviews for products but this has been absolutely integral for my fitness in the midst of a hectic schedule. Balancing work and school I don't really do much outside of my pull-up bar, body weight squats, and some kickboxing in between (I was squatting 315 for reps and could deadlift the same just prior to my purchase of the mace).
Bought the 20lber to start and was humbled by how heavy it was, but I got used to it inside a week. Had looked up some articles on mace training and it interested me, saw this one and figured I'd pull the plug on the garage fit mace. I've got a lot of aggression and I've since used this thing to not only do 360's, offset versions of conventional lifts, but also beat the absolute piss out of a dead oak in my backyard. This mace has taken it all without any noticeable defects other than scuffed paint. Very pleased with how big my shoulders and forearms have gotten since using this.

This is a well built mace with just enough texturing on the handle to provide a good grip without tearing up your hands. I like that it has texturing in 2 places so I can choke up on the handle for warming up with it. I purchased the 20 lbs version since I have experience using other maces and heavy clubbells, this weight is definitely not for the beginner. I would recommend you check your ego and buy a lighter version if you are starting out, I know that 20 lbs does not sound like a lot but the physics of the handle and weight distribution makes it plenty burly for a serious workout. It is easy to injure your shoulders with the forces generated from swinging these maces around so please start light to build strength first.
I have done a few rounds of sledge hammer style slams on a tire with his mace and find I do not like the reactive forces generated, it just seems limp compared to my Monster sledge hammer from strongergrip but that may just be my preference. The mace is plenty sturdy enough to withstand the sledge hammer style slams though and I expect this thing to outlast me in this world.

I have 2 30# and one 50# kettlebell. I wanted to add a mace to my workout. Of course I thought I would need at least a 30#er to get anything out of it. WRONG! The leverage of the handle will increase the resistance of this exercise device. I got the 15# mace and it is plenty to start with.
As far as quality, this is a solid steel implement. You will have this long after your muscles give out. Very well put together, and feels nice in the hands.
