Universal replacement

I needed replacement oven light gaskets for both oven lights in our 40 year old Amana wall oven. After what seemed like an eon of searching, I found a blue unicorn for sale, but no gaskets available for this appliance. The perfect solution:
Lynn Manufacturing High Temperature Gasket Paper.
I was able to easily make two new gaskets by tracing the outlines of the lens and clamp and cutting out the new gaskets with a small razor knife. I tried scissors at first, but found I got a better result by cutting onto a cutting board surface with a knife.
There is still enough material left over for one additional replacement if (I doubt I'll be around for it) needed.
I highly recommend this product for any high temperature gasket needs.
p.s. - I think the unicorn may still be available.

I used this product to cut a gasket for a luthier's bending iron. The original material had deteriorated and I no longer trusted it, so looked for material I could replace it with. This Superwool was easy to cut and does exactly what it's designed to do.

This is exactly like the gaskets for the baffle/secondary air intake of my "Super 27" wood stove. The hardware stores that sell these stove never have the gaskets, and charge crazy amounts when they do have one. One hardware store was making their own. So I went looking for the material to make them. This piece of insulation seems expensive, but not compared to buying 8 to 12??? pre made gaskets.
