Company makes dubious/false claims

This company makes dubious at best claims about the health benefits of copper. The truth is, any amount of copper above a certain small amount required for normal bodily function has adverse effects. They also claim these are "food safe". They are not, at least not in the US. It would be a health code violation to use these mugs in a bar or restaurant in the US, because copper is not a food-safe material. A food-grade version would have to have an inner lining of stainless steel or nickel. This is because any sort of acidic solution will cause copper to break down & leach into the drink. On the box it says not to put anything hot or acidic in these cups. Well the Moscow mule cocktail these cups are solely made for is quite acidic. The written material on/in the box is poorly-written English, making me suspect this is a Chinese company that doesn't care about US food code. That being said, if you use these to make your own Moscow mules at home, for yourself & friends, are they going to make you sick? Probably not. Make the drink, with ice, & drink it in a timely manner. Don't let a drink sit in these cups overnight & wake up in the morning to finish it, you'll get a mouth full of coppery, watered-down booze. I don't undertand the purpose of the copper shot glass. Presumably you'll use the shot glass to measure out your vodka & lime juice. Don't do that, both are acidic. I'd just throw the shot glass out. A glass shot glas will do just as well, & it won't leach copper.

They arrived a bit mauled by UPS, but in perfect shape! They look hand made, which I love. The copper straws are such a great touch. My wife and I are into zero waste and use metal straws already; but they are not the snazzy copper straws that come with these cups. And the shot glass is the final touch. They look great on the shelf!

Ordered it earlier today, and within a few hours the seller emailed me. They let me know they had some issues with some deliveries recently where the end-product was damaged. They told me to let them know if anything went wrong, and they'd make it right.
I really appreciated the fact they reached out before I even got the item, already willing to make it right (it was perfect!) without me having to chase them.
The products were very nice. They are well made, and quite heavy! Everything is pure copper, with no nickel interior like you see on some other products.

Seems to be very high quality and look amazing!! Wife loves the straw!! I love the drinks!! Zero issues. If you want copper mugs, buy these!!!

Real solid copper. Love the hammered look of the mugs, and the convenient stirrers and measurement cup. Excellent quality and look. I did not have to contact Customer Service for any question but the company was feeding me back with information in regard any issue I may have in regard the product. I will definitely recommend this product. Happy Customer!!
