Warm and Vintage Tone

Installed these on my Epiphone Les Paul Special II and I'm very impressed with the tone so far. When played on clean settings, the neck pickup is warm and round with plenty of sustain, while the bridge pickup is just bright enough without being shrill or offensive. Lastly, in the middle position these pickups work synchronously and balance out well. Adding in distortion or overdrive really makes them shine and will suit anyone who plays rock, blues, or jazz. My only complaint is that the wire gauge is thicker than the stock pickups, which made the installation more difficult. I can't say how well these stack up against boutique pickups, but for the money you can't go wrong!

Great sounding pickups. As good as any big name pickups out there. On a personal level, I'm not sure this was the sound I was looking for. However, the pickups themselves are fantastic.
