The input port failed after about a month. I have confirmed it is not the wire. Also when plugging a power supply in it sparks... Other than that it's alright.

You gotta be careful what power you put into it but it works well. Lots of deep boom. I'm using it to power an unpowered subwoofer that's connected to a surround sound that requires a powered one. It doesn't come with anything so read the description carefully. Also I'd give 5 but every so often during some scenes involving a lot of base the power will cut out and the sound will scratch. It happens every so often so not enough for me to be too bothered. And it only happens if I push the nob past half which I rarely do.
Great small amp for a properly matched subwoofer in a reflex enclosure...

I chose a very EFFICIENT 12" subwoofer, which is part of this equation. If you don't know audio, talk to an expert first, to match this amp with the right driver (subwoofer) ALSO make sure you order the correct one. Nobsound makes two, one for general amp work and this one specifically to drive the bass subwoofers. I run mine at about 50% most of the time, and for a home theatre and mounted in a vented 12" housing, this amp/sub combination is awesome ! - MsR
