HUGE HIT AT THE BIRTHDAY PARTY

My little foster guy is autistic and turned 5 on Sunday. I had a little party for him with his friends his therapy clinic. These kids are special and have a hard time focusing - socializing a one of their challenges. We bought him lots of gifts but this is the only one I brought to the party. He cannot really sit down and open a stack of gifts so we give them to him one at a time over a few days - this is how he seems to enjoy them the most. Anyway back to bubbles. A HUGE hit with all the kids. The only time they all came together into one space to play. Not Pizza Not cake just the bubble dolphin. It throws out a tone of bubbles. The liquid lasts a good amount of time (although I am buying more cause he loves it).

This is seriously a great gift! I actually purchased this for my dogs- silly I know but they LOVE the bubbles. We played with it outside and both dogs kept jumping up. I then had some friends over and their two younger kids loved the bubbles so I let them take it home. The little girl loves carrying it around (very light) everywhere now!!

I've used this a few times so far. First time worked great, lots of bubbles. The second time wasn't as great (still bubbles but not a steady flow of bubbles), but I think the issue was not cleaning it well enough and letting it dry enough after the first use. So before the next time using it I cleaned it better and made sure it had a chance to dry thoroughly and that helped a lot. After that it worked just like the first time. As long as you clean and let dry between uses, it should work very well. Plus it's very cute.

It's a fun bubble blower and so far no problems. We've used it many times now this summer and have not had to replace the batteries so that's great! The only down side is that there's no easy way to drain the bubble solution out when you are done and still have a lot in there....especially when you want to save it for next time like I do!!! You can pour it out of his mouth of course....but it's not ideal because it doesn't pour into a smaller mouth container easily. That's a small price to pay for all the fun it has given the kiddos though! ha!

Update: Kidzlane sent me a new one after I emailed customer service saying the first one may have been defective. Very happy with the quality of service the company provides.
It worked great for a few weeks but already the spring that holds down the "on" button is broke. We have to tape it down with a coin to get it to stay on. We just started using it about a month ago too - it had great reviews so I thought it would last longer before breaking.
