Bought me 2 of these desktop power grommets for my desk. Measured the existing holes and they measured 3 inches"¦ or so I thought. I went to install them and they were literally a fraction too big for the holes so I had to file the edges of the holes just enough to get them to fit. Not a big deal and they work great!

I wish it had a threaded screw ring on the bottom side to tighten to the desk. My desk has a hollow core and one of the units doesn't sit as perfect as I would like - the other one does though. I was going to put several cable grommets into the desk, but when I saw these, I had to have 2 of them (big desk). They are excellent! I love having the USB charging capability for my cell phone and Bluetooth head phones. I work from home and just received my new desk. These are the perfect compliment to my new desk. I would have give them 5 stars if they had a threaded ring to tighten them a bit to the desk. Since there is nothing between a 4 and a 5, I gave them a 4, but really this more like a 4.5. And maybe that's more of a desk issue because if I had a solid core desk, I'm sure I would have given them a 5...but hey, some of us have hollow core desks...

While the product itself is as described and I'm sure it works fine... they need to provide a better description and specifications on the size hold it will fit into. We have home office furniture that had pre-drilled holes to accommodate our electronics there are two on the desk, so we thought it would be great to add this to one of them to have easy access to charging devices....the only problem was it does not fit the standard pre-drilled holes on the desk (2" diameter) :(... I could not find and specification with the diameter it can fit into in the description and we assumed the size was standard... thats on us for not asking before buying, but I still dropped one star due to the lack of the information in the description. We ended up giving this away to a friend.
