I fractured my neck 7 months ago and had a spinal fusion. I've been using this brace since I got my hard collar off in the car or on public transportation and when I sleep. I ordered two of these over the course of a month and the second item i got has the reverse small part and large part of the brace- see photo! I prefer the first one which looks like the picture on the box. Still I kept the second one because it was $15 and still functions well just not as nice as the first one.

I love it! I probably should have ordered a Large instead of Medium...being the velcro is a little short to attach well. My neck is 13 1/4 inches and should have fit well with a Medium size according to the chart. I plan to attach more soft velcro to the end of the soft velcro strip attached to it.
Update: Today is my second day wearing it. Right now I am glad I got the medium! It has gotten softer and putting it on today it seems to have loosened up enough that my velcro strap seems to fit better.

Works great for neck pain. Fits great for small necks but comes in a range of sizes. Like the new technique that it fits closer and tighter to neck for necessary support! The color is a dark blue not black. Has Velcro adjustable closure. And it may be washed wish is a plus per instructions but no dryer! It took a while to arrive but it is a good product the seller/Amazon was respectful of my prolonged arrival however, they assisted me with this purchase which I appreciate. You can sleep with brace on and helps while driving. Good job. I highly recommend!
