True quality leather and fit.

I've always enjoyed the feel of real leather and the way it looks as it ages. I enjoyed the Kavaj cover on my iPad Air, but when I got the large Pro so my 65 year old eyes could see the screen better, I tried to save money and bought something else. After putting the other one on I knew I'd made a mistake and arranged to return it, even though I had to pay the shipping. I immediately ordered the Kavaj. It feels and fits just as well as the one for my Air. Sometimes, you truly do get what you pay for.
Not well finished. Not worth the price.

Not nice quality leather finishing. Exposed stitches are on your face and do not look good at all. Very pricey for the lack of details in the finishing in particular. Hard to control the volume through the leather. Staining in the outside cover trying to fake old age leather is poorly done, and deters from the good quality leather. The worst though, besides the fake look, is the stitching... and is on your face all the time while using the tablet. I regret this purchase.

This is the third Kavaj case I have purchased. The first two were for the 9.7 IPad Pro's and this was was a 12.9 Pro. The material, durability, and feel are second to none. For not much more than you would spend on a basic case you can go premium. I would recommend getting a tempered glass screen protector to compliment the case. I took one star off my original review. The case was pushing down on the power button and causing the iPad to always want to turn off. I realized this was the problem as I was talking to Apple Care on the phone. I had to cut out the leather over the power button.

Good product for the $$. I purchased 2 covers at once and currently test driving the other. I wished it came in a lighter color, but this works for the retro look. Do to the size of the 12.9" iPad and the somewhat slickish nature of this cover I'd recommend caution when manipulating and suggest as a best fit for the sure handed. It is a nice balance of quality versus cost and bulk versus durability, i.e.; this could be a higher grade and thicker leather, but if you want to tote around a satchel you should buy one of those.

Love the case and it's typical Kavaj quality. Had one prior for the iPad 4 and loved it along with a phone case. Appears to hold the IPP in the upright position. My only gripe would be the leather feels very close to the home button almost to the point I can't get my entire thumb over the button and it seems to interfere. Anybody else have this issue?
I was hoping to find the Kavaj Berlin since I don't need the pencil holder but it appears that's not made anymore for the IPP 2015 model. Too bad.
