There are cheaper chair balls on Amazon, but I'm glad I bought the Vivora Luno.

I found several cheaper Swiss exercise balls, but I think this might be a case of the old adage: "you get what you pay for." I decided that I want to use it as an office chair, so I want it to be good quality and not look cheap, I don't have time to screw around returning a cheap one, Vivora Luno's looks like the best on the market so I'm going to stop worrying that there are other brands that are five-or-ten-dollars cheaper. Right now, after just a couple of weeks, I'm glad I bought it from Vivora Luno. The ball itself was high quality. More importantly, the cover looks perfect to me: good stitching, straight seams, nice material. Nothing about the quality puts me off. "You get what you pay for."

The cover makes all the difference. In the past, I had tried using a plain exercise ball (without the cover) as a chair. Way too flexible and bouncy, it wasn't practical and didn't feel professional at all. It didn't work at all "” at least not for me. The cover keeps the ball from expanding out of shape and bouncing too much. The seams help keep it from rolling around. And here' is another benefit you might never think of: the cover takes away that pinging-ringing sound that echoes from a regular plastic ball without a cover. It's important to me, because I do a little audio recording and I noticed that even having a big plastic exercise ball in the same room didn't work, I could here the a nasty reverb sound coming from it when I was recording audible sound. Doesn't do that with this felt cover.

The ball inflated easily and was not difficult to align inside the cover. However, I used my little compressor, in the garage, instead of the little hand pump provided. I was able to go slow, give it a little shot of air, then keep adjusting the position of the ball inside the cover. Of course, with a compressor and tank that has 100lbs+ in it, you have to be careful not to overinflate, but that's not difficult, and I had the ball ready ready-to-sit on in 2 or 3 minutes. I'm sure it is doable with the little hand-pump but I imagine it would take a lot more time and work "” probably 15-20 minutes or more, leave your arm dead from all the pumping with the little plastic hand pump.

As for use of the ball as an office chair, while working at the computer, so far I love it. I still have my regular office chair close by and have moved back to it every day, after my back and core get a little tired of sitting on the ball. To me, that means it's working, making me sit up taller, working my core in a very subtle way. That also tells me my core was getting weak and this will be good for it. I can see already, I'm using the ball for longer periods of time, but still glad I have the regular chair to go back to when I'm tired of the ball.

Another thing that takes a little getting used to, it pushes on your rear-end differently than a chair does, so it can leave you a little sore the first few times you sit on it. In fact, I ended up letting a tiny bit of air out to make it just a tiny bit softer on my seat. Maybe I had it inflated too tight at first. But this, just like your lower back and core muscles getting used to sitting on the ball, it is sure to get better as I build up to using it more of the day. One other thing that should be mentioned, the plastic ball inside the felt cover doesn't breath in the way a cushioned office chair can, so it can heat up on your derriere. Once again, I think the benefits outweigh that inconvenience, but
I'm able to spend a little more time on it every day. I can imagine that eventually I may spend the entire workday on the ball and opt to get rid of the standard office chair, or maybe not, maybe I always keep it hand so I have the choice to use either.

Easy to set up (not sure what a lot of other reviews were talking about. The instructions could be better but were sufficient & it wasn't too bad to set up). Great height & don't mind the fabric. Seams are not my favorite but not a deal breaker. Excited to use this more, love it so far
Perfect for ADHD Adults

I bough this ball chair for my home office. I'm autistic, and pretty ADHD so can't sit still. Some of the ball chairs on the market look silly and some are just plain ugly. I don't see much point in having a backrest so this is what I chose.

I made the right decision. First, using a ball chair really does work. I have no problem staying seated and am able to keep my focus on my work to a far greater degree than I have in years. On top of that, my back feels so much better. I don't have to mentally prepare myself to sit anymore, I just sit. Its fun.

My favorite position so far is to have my legs at 45 degree angle, so that my knees are at shoulder width, then seat my butt towards the back, rolling forward until the ball is against the back of my legs, in a sort of a grip. Its very stable. I can shift all over the place so none of the cramping from normal sitting. I might like this because I am also a Motorcyclist. I don't know, it just seems very comfortable.

As far as ball chairs go, this is a great choice. The felt cover is very well made. This product looks great in my home office. The basic anthracite color is very versatile. The texture of the high quality felt adds an air a sophistication that I did not expect. It fits in perfectly with expensive furniture (not that I have any).

While inflating, my dogs came rushing in and the ball got away from me, rolling through a pile of dust and dog hair that was being swept up. Oh No! But the ball cleaned right up with just some bouncing and a little brushing. As far as inflating with the provide hand pump, I had no issue at all.

The only issue is that I am rather short. I really what a 55 cm Niko, but the one I want is not available right now. I have deflated the Luno quite a bit to achieve my optimum seat height. The cover is a bit loose. I am worried that it will experience greater wear and tear then if properly inflated.

For all the autistic guys and gals that are wondering if ball chairs are useful, I say just give one a try. I'm glad I did.
Insert BEFORE pumping 🤪

Seems like a decent chair/ball. For the price I've used better quality exercise balls. I pumped up the ball before inserting into case the first time, though. So take my word as you will. Haha.
The Only True 55cm Ball FINALLY

I switched to a stability ball chair years ago. Yoga and Pilates instructor walking the walk. I moved to an adjustable standing/sitting desk about five years ago and thus began my saga. After subscapuleris and teres minor issues, I realized I was struggling against desk height to chair ratio. I had to find a shorter ball WITH a cover because hello, summer. I had the PERFECT one, but it's no longer available. Again, another quest. One ball described as 55cm was clearly 65cm. Another one described as 55cm was actually 45cm. This one is truly 55cm and has a great handle. I only have ONE issue. These seams are NOT comfortable. Nope. Not at all. So my booty and thighs are not sweating and squeaking, but this cover is itchy and a bit brutal if you are baring legs. Boo! So, great set up, yucky fabric.
