This has such great reviews I was really hopefully it would work. Did not work for me. I'm in a little bit of a rural area. I kept getting device is not reachable. I get cell service out here just fine. So really doubt it's having issues with that. Not sure what the issue was. Got tired of trying to get it work and just returned it.

This item has been incredibly useful. I let my dogs off leash to run around and chase rabbits in the woods. While my dogs come back when I whistle, they cover a large area so this way I know I'm in the correct area instead of walking around all day.

Affordable, quality, and overall awesome device to track my dog! Device isn't bulky or clunky for my 12 pound dog, Arnie. Battery life is good so far (but could be better) and I like the option to share the location with my dog-walker, friends or family. Device has proven accurate and I'm very happy with the Tractive GPS.

I was recommended to buy the Tractive GPS 3G by a friend who also occasionally experienced her dog running away. It's been just 3 weeks since I started using the device with Cooper (black lab escape artist) and I am very pleased with the accuracy, usability, and design of the tracking experience. I made an account, added Safe Zones, and edited certain notifications in under 15 minutes. The usability and ease of setting up the app was great!
Once Cooper started wearing the device I had such peace of mind when leaving him alone in our fenced yard or when we would go for walks off leash.Since using the device, I've had just one emergency and in the time of panic, the Live Tracking feature was successful, easy to start and I was able to find Cooper quickly. I can highly recommend this product as it performs as expected and gives me complete comfort in knowing where Cooper is or where he has been!
It is important to know that there is a monthly service fee of $6.99 (they say you can cancel anytime), which is necessary to use the device.
