Great product. Bought this to go before my 3 stage filtration system. I have iron in my well and want to make my filters lasts longer. The filter being reusable and flushable is extremely helpful. Easy hookup. Most sediment filters are pvc adapted where there is glue involved. This being threaded worked perfectly for my lines. Thanks josh for selling me a wonderful product.

Good product. Installation was easy. It connected directly to my filter without the need for adapters. Just one word of advice when you think you have it connected, give it another spin. I put mine all together and ended up having to take it back apart to give the filter another turn or two. I was originally worried about stripping the plastic threads on 2 stage filter further down.

My spring water contains very small gritty material that was continuously restricting the water savers and faucet screens throughout my farmhouse. Every few months I had to clean the faucet and shower head screens. This device has dramatically reduced that problem. I did not give it 5 stars because the "self-cleaning" feature (open the drain petcock to flush the screen) does not work very well. I can see many particles still attached to the screen after rinsing, so it must be taken apart to actually clean it. I do recommend it highly with that one exception.
After my initial review, above, the company sent me a free 100 micron filter to test for better self cleaning. I have not yet tried it, but I absolutely give them 5 stars for customer service.
