Our Better World Pets dog bed (medium size, ocean blue trim) has been 'in service' for +two months (Oct '17 - Dec '17). This bed the BEST dog bed (or any pet bed) that we have ever owned! We STRONGLY recommend this product. Though the bed is a tad expensive (by comparison to our past purchases only), the quality is extraordinary. We project that it will perform better and last longer than any previous dog bed product that we have ever purchased. My wife and I (pre- and post-marriage) have owned dogs for nearly 70 years; best guess is +20 dogs in total. We have purchased many, many dog beds over the decades and experienced average to below-average performance. NOT so with the Better World Pets bed. We recommend that you locate the Better World Pets YouTube video on this product. Our experience is that EVERY single word spoken by the founder about this product (design, materials quality, manufacturing outcome) is the TRUTH! Your dog will love this bed and you will appreciate the price and value.

I would love this bed for my dog except that she's 17, has arthritis and is in danger of falling off of it and when she does she really can't get up unless she falls on one of the yoga mats I have around for traction. She really needs a bed with more support to hold her in. I didn't want to give less than five stars because it's a great bed for a different dog. The fact that it's waterproof alone makes it a great choice for a senior dog. It's very thick and seems like it would be comfortable for a dog with orthopedic issues. Also, the company contacted me with an offer for help with any problems so it seems they are very interested in good or excellent customer service.
Hopefully they will warm up to it but they are a little spoiled and don't like change. I can't say enough about the customer ...

They not only said the would honor the full warranty but would extend it beyond the 30 days Amazon gives. They even offered a full refund without having to return the bed since it is very hard to put back into the box. I bought this bed because of the many great reviews and it seemed like just the thing for a 14 year old arthritic Airedale. Unfortunately like I said she doesn't like change. She wouldn't even try the bed so my husband bought her a thick, fluffy throw rug to replace the old, thin bathmat she was sleeping on. Now she is mad and won't sleep on either on of them. She just lays on the carpet at the foot of our bed and looks mournfully at us while both rugs are laying right there next to her. Like I said, spoiled. I would definitely purchase from Better World Pets again. They are great and stand behind their products.

So far so good. My old dog has become frail and incontinent, so I wanted something that would give her a really cushy place to rest her old bones, and something that would be completely waterproof, so I wouldn't have to keep throwing out soggy stinky dog beds. This bed looks like it satisfies both those needs. I have not yet washed the cover, as i try to keep the bed covered with both a chux pad and an absorbent towel, but it is easy to take off, so it should be easy to keep it washed and clean. My dog immediately settled down on the bed and now spends a lot of time on it. Would definitely recommend.

This bed is AMAZING if you have an older dog with "bone" problems. Our dog, Otis, who will be 13 in December (a 100 pound black lab) is still a happy boy who loves his food and still loves playing with his toys. However, the poor thing has major back, neck and leg problems and can not function the way he used to. The old bed he had was soft and would slide all over the floor when he tried to get up and it was getting to the point that he could NOT get up anymore and we would have to help him. This new bed is fantastic for him! It's a firm bed, which seems to be helping with his problems and it stays in place. We have not had to help him get up once since we got it. The second we put it down he got down on it and we could tell he was so in love with it. Whenever we can't find him, there he is sleeping in his favorite new bed. Also, unlike other reviews, our bed had no smell and does not make any kind of "crinkle" noise. I highly suggest this bed if you have an older dog with orthopedic problems.
