Excellent dog bed

My dog is apparently more finicky with his dog bed than I thought. We purchased a waterproof dog bed and he hated it even though it was similar to this dog bed. We took it back and I purchased this instead. The bed was delivered in a timely manner and well packaged. The dog bed is HEAVY and took about 2 hours to fully air up. The lining is waterproof as is the cover. It also feels fairly durable. I got on the dog bed to see if I would be able to feel the floor through it and couldn't feel anything, including any kennel bars or the liner from the kennel he is in when unsupervised. Our GSD is approx. 110 lbs without hip or elbow issues at this time but it's good to know that this bed would be supportive should he need it.
We put the dog bed on the ground and, I kid you not, he did not move for 4 hours. I've never seen him so excited about a dog bed.
I would highly recommend this dog bed and company to anyone!

Covered with mildew and a stench upon unpackaging

I was really excited when I got the bed, but the moment I cut open the plastic on the vacuum sealed packaging, there was a horrid stench of mildew. The small label made of cardboard on the bed was wet and had disintegrated a bit and left a stain through the liner and onto the bed. The liner was all wet and the bed part had mildew stains all over. I was very disappointed because it had seemed like the perfect bed for my old greyhounds. I wanted to exchange the bed for another one and take the change to see if the replacement was okay, but an exchange was not one of the options - just returns. I bought the bed on Prime Day at a discount, and I will receive a refund. To purchase a new one would mean paying almost double what I bought it for and running the risk of getting another mildew mess. I got online to see if there were any other similar reviews, and I was surprised and saddened to see a handful of other reviews with the EXACT issue with the XL beds.
Finally a bed up to my standards!

We are very pleased with this bed. It is the primary bed for our 15 year old lab and I spare no expense for her comfort and wellbeing. They no longer make the bed that she has used previously and we have been having trouble finding a bed a suitable bed. Most are either too soft or too firm. This one is perfect. It offers enough resistance so your dog isn't sinking through to the floor but it still offers supportive cushioning. We previously purchased a $150 bed and this one is much better. Highly recommend.... and I'm picky. The only possible downfall for some people may be that the lining inside causes the bed to be a tiny bit noisy. If you are a very light sleeper or have a dog that moves and digs around a ton then you might be a bit turned off. This however isn't a problem for us and the positive far out weigh this tiny issue. I'm attaching a photo to show the size against our queen size bed. We purchased the large/extra large size and our 70 pound dogs can fit individually with room to spare. Both dogs could fit on it together if they were cuddlers.

This bed is AMAZING if you have an older dog with "bone" problems. Our dog, Otis, who will be 13 in December (a 100 pound black lab) is still a happy boy who loves his food and still loves playing with his toys. However, the poor thing has major back, neck and leg problems and can not function the way he used to. The old bed he had was soft and would slide all over the floor when he tried to get up and it was getting to the point that he could NOT get up anymore and we would have to help him. This new bed is fantastic for him! It's a firm bed, which seems to be helping with his problems and it stays in place. We have not had to help him get up once since we got it. The second we put it down he got down on it and we could tell he was so in love with it. Whenever we can't find him, there he is sleeping in his favorite new bed. Also, unlike other reviews, our bed had no smell and does not make any kind of "crinkle" noise. I highly suggest this bed if you have an older dog with orthopedic problems.

I bought 3 beds. I got 2 XL and one Medium. The XL beds are perfect for my big dogs (85 pounds) and the medium is perfect for my 65 pound pup. The main reason I looked into an ortho bed was because my 65 pound dog is 16 years old. He has arthritis and a torn ACL. His comfort is super important to me. So far, these beds have lived up to their description. When I received them they took a couple of hours to inflate and I was impressed that they took great shape and were 5" thick like reported. I tested them out by applying all of my weight onto them and watched them bounce right back like memory foam is supposed to. My dogs have taken to them since day 1. I always hate when I invest money in a bed and then within a week they are flat and have no more support. So far, these are looking like they will stay supportive! This is the most impressed I have been with a dog bed since I got my little old man 15 years ago. Plus, 10% goes to the Humane Society! Amazing!!!
The beds are also very modern looking and super easy to vacuum! (I included a pic of the medium bed with my 16 yr old pup!)
