If you have the original Magic Trax and need replacement ...

If you have the original Magic Trax and need replacement cars, these will work. The only things is that they are so fast with new batteries that it will fly off the track or tip over if u have too many curves until the batteries start to run down a little.

Both of these cars were great for the first day (and set of batteries). Once the batteries were changed, it has not mattered how many times we have tried different batteries, the cars have stopped working. We are really disappointed with this product and so is our 4yo.

Red car is better; mechanics between the cars are different. I first noticed this when my son pushed the (OFF) red car forward and the LED lights flashed as if it were on (almost like the wheels turning generated enough power to get the lights working). The yellow car does not do this great "feature," but looks almost identical on the outside (except yellow). Upon closer inspection you can see the internals are slightly different. Both cars were better than the "Jeep-esque" car that came with the track set that we purchased. Note that in my case, that Jeep took 1 AA, while these cars took 2 AAA batteries each.
