Precision ultrafine tip permanently marks slides and cassettes. Ink is waterproof, smear proof, odorless, and resistant to most chemicals, including formalin and xylene. Not resistant to alcohol.
It is only to write on frosted slides and tissue cassettes.

I bought these markers to write on plastic-ware (tissue culture flasks, tubes, etc), but I was very disappointed sine this marker was very easy to erase with alcohol or even with my wet hands. After reading product description, I realized this marker is only for writing on frosted slides and tissue cassettes. So, if you need to write on wet or smooth surfaces or plastic, etc, I recommend using the VWR Lab Marker instead.
