This treatment has been working great in my blackwater tank since I started using it. I've been using about four fluid ounces of it each time after draining the tank and closing the drain valve. It has eliminated bubbling, "belching", and strange sounds from the drain when flushing the toilet. I guess the stuff I was using before didn't work very good, since I was having those problems, but this stuff seems to be working great. Just make sure to shake the jug really good before using it - I've noticed that some solids accumulate on the bottom when the jug has sat for a while.

It works, however, you do have to use a lot. I used the entire gallon on one plugged drain.

I have been using bacterial drain cleaners for several years with success. This product is very easy to use, a little more so than what I have been using, and has a very pleasant scent, and the drains continue to run free. The product is also a little over half the price of what I was using which is a welcomed benefit as well. The only comment I have, which has no bearing on my rating, is it would be helpful if the use instructions were a little clearer about what the product can be used for IE Toilets and what amount of product to use for each application, fortunately other reviews were helpful with this.

I notice it working within the first couple of hours. We plan on using it every week.

Ever since the city worked on the sewers under our street, my neighbors and I have been contributing to the college funds of the Roto-Rooter type businesses with frequent backups and clogs that needed to be removed - frequently. Every three months or so our toilets, showers and sinks became unusable until we forked over $100 or more to have the backups removed from the pipes that connected to the sewer under the street. When my toilets began their ominous gurgling sound that always seems to precede that dreaded phone call for help, I checked Amazon for another solution and found this product.

Quite frankly I wasn't expecting any miracles and fully anticipated having to make yet another call for assistance. All I was really hoping for was something that would decrease the number of times I had to see the sewer guy in a year.I received this last night and immediately poured the recommended amount into my two backed up toilets, my shower and tub and my kitchen sink. I figured it wouldn't help a whole lot at least until daylight allowed me to pour some into the access pipes next to the sidewalk, but hey, what did I have to lose by giving it a try on my backed up system?

This morning I woke to my toilets actually flushing! Not at 100% efficiency, but they were able to slowly move waste through the system - something they hadn't been able to do for three days. Now I'm waiting for the temps to warm up a little before hitting the outdoor pipes and might even be able to avoid that dreaded phone call. I couldn't be happier! I will definitely use it as a preventative according to the instructions.

The only downside is I have a mental image of little molecules in hard hats with giant teeth happily munching away on whatever stuphs is clogging the system. Small price to pay for being able to use a modern convenience like a shower or toilet for longer than a couple months before they shut down.
