Solves the strength problem but not sludge. Found a workaround.

Finally a reusable K-cup that produces a cuppa Joe strong enough for my liking (I like it just short of Starbucks strength). I've bought and returned numerous reusable cups. They either didn't hold enough coffee or sent the water through too quickly rendering a cup of colored water. And all sent sludge into the cup if used without a paper filter.
This cup solves the strength problem but not the sludge, thus the 4-star rating. You can't use a paper filter because of the lid's locking system. A filter that would fit fully into the cup would uselessly let water and coffee grounds flow over the top of the filter. My workaround is dispensing the coffee through a Melitta single-serve pour-over system rather than directly into my cup. Now I have a beautifully clean strong cup of coffee. ::smiling::
I ask my coffee purveyor to grind at #9 and use 2 rounded tablespoons for a mid-sized cup.For a large cup, fill to the travel mug mark. Fill it fairly loosely; tap it only once on the counter.

Works Well

It does work well but you will get a little bit of sediment in the bottom of your cup if you don't use one of the disposable filters. I got some of the disposable filters made for a k-carafe cup and they fit pretty well. Link to the ones I bought below. They are just a tiny bit on the large side so I just fold the top part of it down so the cap doesn't pop off.

I read some reviews that weren't so favorable about this reusable coffee pod, but honestly I don't know what they were complaining about. Messy? Not as messy as the older version, I love it! It doesn't leak or overflow and makes a perfect cup of coffee, plus there are no hinges or plastic parts that break, I would definitely recommend it.
Does NOT fit a K10

This does NOT fit a K10. I can only think that there are 2 models listed here but the Q&A and reviews aren't separated out. Amazon does this repeatedly, and it is a true annoyance. I can't tell if this product is misrepresented, or if the "Old Model" version is the one that fits the K10. If you are having the same issue, I bought the one with the adapter, and it doesn't fit the K10, even with the adapter part removed. It is way too big for the machine. I gave 3 stars instead of one because this may be a flaw in the way it is advertised, but I have no way of knowing.

Works great. I have seen other reviews that say this makes a weak watered down coffee but I didn't experience this issue. Our Keurig paired with this filter works amazing. I found no evidence of loose coffee grounds like others reported. Have used for a week now and although it took some adjustment time to get use to having to clean a filter after every use I am quite satisfied. Will probably buy extra filter baskets so that I can make a cup for my husband as well without having to clean the filter first. I did not find it difficult to clean after use like others stated but then I cleaned mine immediately after use. The heat didn't bother me and I would rather do the cleanup immediately so that I don't forget to clean it for next use. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how efficient this reusable filter works. Wish I had tried this sooner. I have a Bunn coffee drip coffee maker as well and I hated that we always seemed to either waste the last cup worth or forced ourselves to have an extra cup so as not to waste it. I have found that we do not go through as much coffee now that we are using this filter. We only use our Bunn now when we are both going to be home for the day. For a quick morning cup of coffee or an after dinner treat this filter gives us a more versatile option. I love that I can have a hot chia tea and my husband can have a coffee. Before if one of us wanted a coffee and the other wanted something else we either had to buy the expensive k-cup pods or brew a pot of coffee. Love this cheaper option. Nothing negative to say.
