great dryer for my needs
Chris✓ Verified Purchase•January 1, 2017
great dryer for my needs, light enough to carry up and down stairs to my apt by myself. drys clothes in double the time a normal dryer which is ok. it holds enough clothes for me, so as long as i watch it so it doesnt rattle with too much clothes i seem to be ok. I try not to push this too hard, i hang my clothes beforehand atleast an hour to let them air dry off a bit. I clean out the dryer filter each time, the inner one i have to use tape on to get the hair off it. That would be the only improvement would be to make that process easier. i am not sure why they say i cant take the filter off, but i may try that someday when it breaks.
small dryer, slow to dry, quiet, portable. Ideally wall mounted. Smaller than it looks in pictures.

This electric clothes dryer is a small, nice performer. It is ideally suited for wall mounting and comes with the brackets. The plastic tubing for the exhaust is not compatible with modern clothes dryer vents, but it comes with an adapter. You must use part of the factory supplied tubing. The vent lint catcher is inside the drum in the back wall in the center. You insert a finger and tug it off then wipe clean and press back in place. It comes with a screen and dust filter too. The filter can be washer and re-used but I am not sure how many times it would survive that. It runs off 117vac, standard US house current, probably drawn a load similar to a counter top toaster. It heats up slowly due to not being 220vac. Drying time is longer than a full size 220v dryer, maybe double. It runs quietly and smoothly. Simple to operate, drying by room air or electric heat. The drum is wide but not very deep (front to back). So far I have had no issues or complaints other than being slow. Here in the desert you can almost dry clothes slowly with just room air since our humidity is so low, but in the midwest this dryer may be painfully slow unless you keep the load size small.
I Should have Bought this a Year Ago.

I purchased this dryer's companion washer about a year ago and have been very happy with its utility. I had resisted buying the washer because I remember a Westinghouse dryer that ran on 110 volts (a common household outlet) made in the '90's that simply never even got warm. It was a tumble dryer that took forever to air dry washed laundry. I should not have waited. The Panda dryer is a far better product; the wash drys pretty quickly and works, except for the smaller load size, nearly as well as a 220 volt machine. I recommend it highly.

I've own this dryer for over 4 months and it still works great. It is for small loads: approximately 2 pairs of jeans and 2 t-shirts 40 minutes to dry, AFTER spin drying in the Panda spin dryer- which spin drys your clothes at high revolution speed but does not use heat. I do highly recommend using a lint roller to clean lint off the removable cloth like filters, which unfortunately cost about $20.00 for 4 replacements. It takes some work to use this dyer compare to a traditional full size home dryer but it is perfect as a second choice. It is a first choice for me compared to a commercial dryer out side.
Compact Tumble Dryer Fills A Niche
Eric Fox✓ Verified Purchase•March 5, 2015
The world has needed a compact tumble dryer for awhile. Now there is one.
The dryer works great for loads it's size, though you wouldn't want to overfill it.
The lint filter is extremely effective with the second filter pad behind the usual screen.
Though the screen may seem a little awkward to clean between uses, it has one big advantage. There is no slot for the lint to fall into when you are trying to remove it, so unlike most full size dryers, it will not accumulate so much lint inside of it.
