For some reason, these backpacks were really popular this year. This backpack is very cute and held up with no problem to a year of use so far, and I put it through a fair amount of strain. I can saw with certainty that it can hold a full 3in binder, 1 large textbook, a Microsoft surface tablet, a lab notebook, and all the pencils, pens, calculators, cellphones you could want without problem (the weight on your back is a different problem though). I am very happy with this backpack and look forward to stuffing it full of various textbooks in the future. To another year of college and crippling debt!

I love the design of this backpack and I've had many compliments. It's very comfortable to wear. I have a train ride and a 15 minute walk in the morning and evening. I carry a 15" laptop, lunch, wallet, coffee and it does not feel heavy at all.

I did choose this mostly for design but after using it for a few months here are my thoughts:
- I wish there were more pockets on the inside
- the side pockets have no stretch so it can be difficult to get a coffee thermos or water bottle in
- The snaps for that front flap are starting to separate from the fabric after a few months of daily use.
- I would love a little pocket on the strap for a cell phone. I often don't have pockets and it's impossible to reach into this thing when it's on your back

This backpack is really nice for everyday office use, but not great for travel. I did get compliments from several people and I like the look of the bag. It is a great size for someone like me (short.) My last backpack was half as tall as I am. It also carried more than I thought it would from the pictures. I had my surface tablet, work files, cords, assorted office supplies and still had room for a small purse, gloves and scarf. That being said, there wasn't a way to secure it to my suitcase (which I didn't think about until after I ordered it.) It would be nice if it had a flap you could slide over the suitcase handle. The small zip pocket on the front was also a little tight once I had a few items in it (gum, Kleenex, etc.) I was able to use the side pocket for my cell phone, but call me crazy, I prefer my phone is secured in a zip pocket. In other words, I wish there was one more outside zip pocket that I could use for cell phone, license and credit card for easy access in the airport. Not a deal breaker, but nice to have. The fact that you can't secure it to the suitcase was a bigger issue. The straps also slipped several times, so I finally tied a knot in them to keep there where I wanted on my back. I have a battery charger, but didn't find that feature very functional. I could not get the cord provided to fit securely enough to stay in place. Once you have other items in the bag, it's not so easy to access. I just pulled my battery charger out and used it the old fashion way.

Overall good bag and I will certainly use it for my daily trips to and from the office. Will continue to look for a more functional travel bag.

I love this backpack! I've been carrying it for about two weeks, and it's been absolutely awesome. Would definitely recommend to anyone who travels frequently (cross country, or across your own city), and has a lot of stuff to haul around. I tend to carry at least two books at a time, plus notebooks, planners, and a laptop in the main compartment. I also carry a makeup bag, a toiletry bag, an external hard drive, chargers, and a snack pack in the front/side pockets. Even with all that stuff, the backpack fits comfortably and somehow makes all the weight feel evenly distributed.

The only reason I give it 4/5 is because the charging port doesn't work. It would've been REALLY cool if it did, but the backpack alone is still impressive quality, especially for the price.

Very nice backpack. The material seems strong- very thick with a slight texture. The straps are comfy even with a few books in the bag. I'm able to fit a one inch binder, 2 one subject notebooks, my laptop, and a large book fine in the back pocket. The charger one the side is a neat idea, and where I have my extra battery hooked up. The only downside is the middle pocket doesn't have any other pockets in it for pencils or smaller supplies.
