First pair I received did not work. Customer service contacted me after I left a review stating so and requested I give them another chance. The new device works very well. I am able to hear both my and my children's heart beats clearly while a loud cartoon is playing in the background. I am very pleased with the stethoscope and the customer service of this company. I just received my Paramed singlehead stethoscope yesterday and I really like it! It is the first time I have owned a Paramed. The quality is good and I can hear lung and heart sounds very well with it. I like the simplicity of a singlehead style and appreciate that it is lightweight. Definitely recommend

I've been using an MDF Instruments for the first 3 semesters of nursing school. Here I am thinking that I'm just not doing something right because it is so hard for me to decipher sounds. After receiving this stethoscope, I realize that it was my stethoscope that prevented me from being able to hear. Immediately, I could hear 10 times better. I am so excited to be able to start using it in my next semester.

I was a full time EMT for 6 years and I always just used the cheap stethoscopes provided by the ambulance company. I finally ordered this one from Paramed to use with my high school classroom students and it works great; way better than the cheap ones I was use to. For the price and quality, I give it a 5 out of 5! Thank you for keeping good quality still affordable!

So far I've used the scope for apical pulse and a LOT of blood pressures. I'll say the scope isn't as amazing as the hundred something dollar ones that the others in my nursing group bought, but for the price it works really well. I can hear even pretty faint pulses for pressures perfectly fine, and the earpiece isn't uncomfortable. Honestly, it's a solid scope, I can even use it on people while they're exercising perfectly fine.
