Duncan Hines has a recipe for pineapple upside down cake that uses this mix. It's easy, delicious, and looks gorgeous! They recommend baking it in a cast iron pan; I have my grandmother's cast iron skillet from the 1930s and it produces a perfect cake! I've bought this mix quite a bit cheaper at a Big Box store, but suddenly couldn't find it.

I love this cake! I substitute the water for pineapple juice. Yummy! For the topping l, I arrange pineapple slices with cherries in each pineapple center. I also use raisins and prunes. Don't forget to butter your baking pan and add brown sugar on the bottom of pan before you add the fruits, delicious!
